Ainsworth Appoints Chief Financial Officer

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/23/12 -- Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. (TSX: ANS)(TSX: ANS.WT) announced today that Rick Eng has been appointed Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer, effective September 11, 2012. Prior to joining Ainsworth, Mr. Eng served as Senior Vice President, Brookfield Asset Management Inc., responsible for capital markets activities and private equity investing in Western Canada. He holds a B.A. (Economics) from Queen's University and is a Chartered Accountant.
