Partnership Brings Standards-Aligned STEM Tool to Arkansas Students, Grades 4-10
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/24/12 -- As part of its efforts to increase STEM education, Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) has adopted Penda Learning , a web-based standards mastery resource for students, grades 4-10.
Penda's online science and math resource uses avatars and competition to authentically engage students as they work through standards-aligned activities. Based on the latest brain research and differentiated instruction and learning strategies, Penda is designed to authentically engage students, allowing them to create avatars and choose friends, thus facilitating an emotional connection to their learning.
