(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/24/12 -- Poynt Corporation (TSX VENTURE: PYN) ("Poynt Corp." or the "Company"), a global leader in mobile local search and advertising, today announced management changes that continue the Company's efforts to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs in order to maximize shareholder value.
On June 25, 2012, the Company placed Margaret Glover-Campbell, SVP Marketing and External Communications, and Brad Murray, SVP Technology, on temporary layoff. As of August 24, 2012, Margaret Glover-Campbell and Brad Murray have not been recalled and have been issued a Record of Employment. As such, their employment with Poynt has ceased.
