Brown, PMP, has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development, effective immediately. Brown recently left his position as Vice President at NBC Universal, Comcast.

At yap.TV, Brown will drive the company's worldwide growth and revenue strategies. He has an extensive background in technology and entertainment, spanning more than 20 years with some of the biggest names in the television industry.
Most recently, Brown held the position of Vice President with NBC/Universal. Prior to his position at NBC, Brown was a Division Vice President with Comcast, providing overall strategic sales and marketing leadership for networks such as E! Entertainment, Golf, Style, G4, Sprout, and Comcast Regional Sports Nets.

In addition to NBC and Comcast, Brown has served as Vice President of Content Distribution at Viacom, working with MTV, BET, and Nickelodeon.

His background includes years of experience at the executive level for companies such as HP, GE Capital, and Dell Computer. Brown began his career at IBM as a project manager after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in accounting. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), recognized by Project Management Institute. Brown has also completed executive leadership programs at UCLA's Anderson Business School and Harvard Business School.
