Cincinnati Restaurateur Jeff Ruby to Offer $100,000 Financial Reward for Information Leading to the Recovery of Stacy Peterson

ID: 177905

(firmenpresse) - CINCINNATI, OH -- (Marketwire) -- 08/27/12 -- Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby announced today he will provide a $100,000 financial reward for information leading to the whereabouts and recovery of Stacy Peterson's body, missing since October 2007.

Anyone with information about Stacy Peterson should call Illinois State Police, District Five Headquarters at (815) 726-6377.

Peterson is the wife of Drew Peterson, the Chicago police officer now on trial for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio in 2004. Peterson has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder of Savio. He was charged with the murder of Savio after his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, disappeared in 2007.

Ruby, the owner of steakhouses in Cincinnati, Louisville and Belterra Casino, became involved in the trial of Peterson when he ran an advertisement in Chicago newspapers calling Peterson's attorneys shameless for a press interview they gave in which they mocked the missing (and presumed dead) Stacy Peterson.

A tireless victim's rights advocate, Ruby is deeply involved with Crimestoppers Cincinnati and has posted high value rewards for the return of many missing people. He also sits on the board of the Texas Equusearch.

"I respect America's judicial system, its judges, prosecutors and those who work tirelessly to bring justice," said Ruby. "It's my hope that this financial reward will provide answers to this case."

Ruby earned national media attention for kicking O.J. Simpson out of his Louisville steakhouse in May of 2007. He also ran advertisements in Orlando newspapers criticizing the not-guilty verdict in the Casey Anthony trial.
