Ideal Systems to Deliver Digital Video Archive Systems Throughout Asia

Ltd. has become an Authorized Reseller for Qualstar's widely regarded XLS and RLS families of LTO tape libraries throughout Asia.
Ideal Systems will integrate Qualstar tape libraries with XenData SX Series of digital video archive solutions that work seamlessly with most of the popular media asset management (MAM) and broadcast automation, including Aveco, Avid, Cinegy, Dalet, EVS, Harmonic, Evertz and more.

Qualstar's new RLS Expandable Rack Mount Libraries and XLS Enterprise Tape Libraries can easily scale to store from 800 hours to over 200,000 hours of HD content.
The new RLS-8500 Rack Mount Libraries are user-expandable in less than 15 minutes. The key to this new capability is FastPass™, a simple robust design that passes tapes between modules in under two seconds. FastPass fits completely inside the library cabinet, requires no additional power and is field installable by the user. FastPass merges two, three or four RLS modules into a single, efficient cost-effective library storing up to 474 LTO cartridges and housing up to twenty tape drives in one 19-inch rack.
