Frank Zippel is the New Regional Sales Manager for Northern Germany at Berner&Mattner
(PresseBox) - Berner & Mattner has a new Sales Executive: Since July 1, 2012, Frank Zippel has been Regional Sales Manager Northern Germany. His main task is to strengthen and expand the regional business contacts for further development of the automotive division. Frank Zippel is an automotive expert with extensive expertise in the car industry sector. His long-standing work in the Volkswagen environment and his close relations with the Group make him an ideal candidate for building new business opportunities.
Frank Zippel, born in 1954, began his career at Wilhelm Karmann GmbH in Osnabrueck. There, he was soon responsible for the functionality of the vehicle's electrical system in the lines Scirocco and Corrado. Other stages of his career were with the companies EDAG and Salzgitter. As Managing Director of Salzgitter Automotive Engineering GmbH & Co. KG in Osnabrueck, he was in charge of project management, engineering, sales and the profitability of this division. In this role, he developed strong relationships with Audi, Bentley Motors and Bugatti.

Priorities in the collaboration with Volkswagen and other car manufacturers are projects in the fields of functional safety, model-based function development as well as AUTOSAR and virtual integration.
