OIN Enhances Linux System Definition With Expanded Mobile Linux Coverage
(firmenpresse) - DURHAM, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 08/29/12 -- Open Invention Network (OIN) announced that it has expanded the Linux System technologies covered by its protective network of royalty-free cross-licenses and by its defensive patent portfolio to include eighteen mobile Linux software packages, such as android-core and dalvik. This new coverage builds upon updates to OIN's coverage from earlier this year, in which OIN added 700 new software packages to its Linux System definition, including frequently used packages such as KVM, Git, OpenJDK, and WebKit.
