Jerry M. de St. Paer Joins Elanus Capital Management
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 09/04/12 -- Elanus Capital Management, LLC, a financial institutions focused alternative asset manager, is pleased to announce that Jerry M. de St. Paer has joined its Advisory Board with immediate effect.
Jerry is currently Executive Chairman of the Group of North American Insurance Enterprises (GNAIE), where he plays an integral role in seeking to influence insurance accounting and solvency standards, and serves as a director on the boards of SCOR's North American businesses.

Jerry has served as both a non-life and life insurance CFO during his career. He was Executive Vice President and CFO of XL Capital Ltd, Senior Executive Vice President and CFO of The Equitable Companies, and Directeur General Adjoint (EVP) of AXA in Paris. Prior to this, Jerry was an insurance investment banker at JP Morgan and Hudson International Advisors. He began his career in the Treasurer's Department of Standard Oil Company of New Jersey (now ExxonMobil Corporation).
Jerry serves on the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Advisory Council, the IASB's Insurance Working Group, and the PCAOB's Standing Advisory Group. He was a member of FASB's Advisory Council until the end of 2011. He is a Senior Advisory Partner of Grail Partners LLC, an advisory board member of the Emerging Managers Group, and a principal of Counterpoint Investment Partners, LLC.
