Change Making Change Fund Partners With Ben Towne Foundation for Its 2012 Summer Coin Drive
(firmenpresse) - SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/06/12 -- , a non-profit organization dedicated to making global improvements through the collection of pocket change, today announced a partnership with in support of its 2012 Summer Coin Drive. Together, the organizations are promoting National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September) by making it easy for children and families to donate spare change in support of pediatric cancer research.
Earlier this summer, the foundation distributed coin boxes and asked families to collect spare change that could accelerate cancer breakthroughs at the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research. On September 23, thanks to CMC Fund and its participation in the Coinstar® Coins that Count™ program, families can bring their coin boxes to the grocery store in the University District (2746 NE 45th Street, Seattle) between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and utilize the Coinstar kiosk to make their donations. CMC Fund will then process all transactions and forward the collected monies to the foundation.

Donations to the Summer Coin Drive can be made throughout the month of September at any Coinstar kiosk that participates in the Coins that Count program. Select CMC Fund as the donation recipient, then send a photo of your receipt to or text 503-446-3660 with amount, the name "Ben Towne Foundation," store name and zip code.
