Voxeo Appoints Telecommunications Veteran as CEO
Bob Ingalls, Long-Time Verizon Executive, Joins Voxeo to Propel Leading Mobile Customer Service Provider Through Next Growth Phase
(firmenpresse) - ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- Voxeo, the leading provider of Unlocked Communications™, announced today that Bob Ingalls, a 33-year veteran of the telecommunications industry and former Verizon senior executive, has been appointed as Voxeo's new CEO. Former CEO Jonathan Taylor will remain at Voxeo as Chairman of the Board and is also now Chairman of the Board of Voxeo's newest subsidiary, Voxeo Labs.
Bob previously spent 28 years at Verizon and was a board advisor to Voxeo. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer and President for Verizon's Retail Markets Group and President of Verizon's Business Solutions Group, where he had full responsibility for revenue growth and customer service across the consumer, small business and medium enterprise segments. He will join Voxeo as CEO and board member, and he will lead the company's operations and growth as it continues to dominate the mobile customer service industry through superior technology and customer obsession.
Bob's appointment allows Jonathan to focus on the growth of Voxeo Labs, the Company's newest subsidiary. Voxeo Labs enables agile communications APIs, frictionless business models, and carrier-class platforms for rapid telecommunications application development and delivery.

Bob received a bachelor of science degree from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va., and a master's in business administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. He has attended executive development programs at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He has served as an independent director on the boards of American Fiber Systems and Cernium Corporation with roles on the audit and compensation committees and has served as Chairman of the Board at American Fiber Systems.
