Global Clean Energy, Inc. Has Commenced Development of a 15-20 Ton per Day Gasification System

(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- Global Clean Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GCEI) announced that planning has begun to build an integrated waste-to-energy Demonstration facility. The project is estimated to cost $15-20 million.
The first phase of the hybrid gasifier was completed on time and on budget, and proved that GCEI's pilot scale 2-3 tpd gasifier, which was tested with different mixtures of carbonaceous materials including coal, plastic, rubber, Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), produced a synthetic gas.
The second stage is being negotiated based on the City of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield's requirement to incorporate gasification with an anaerobic digestion system as mandated by the Province of Quebec. Phase Two will lead to the construction of a 15-20 tpd gasifier.
This demonstration unit will serve as a pilot for Phase Three of the city's waste-to-energy system, but will also be commercialized as is for industrial companies that have already expressed interest in GCEI's technology. The system will upon successful testing and evaluation enable GCEI to begin plans to produce commercially viable systems targeted at the $100 billion dollar North American waste-to-energy market.
