Women's Initiative for Self Employment Honors Home Instead Senior Care Owner as 2012 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year
Michelle Rogers Is a Silicon Valley Region Winner
(firmenpresse) - MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/11/12 -- Michelle Rogers, owner, , has been selected as a 2012 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for the Silicon Valley Region by the Women's Initiative for Self Employment. The nonprofit group is celebrating eight female business owners who support their communities and help stimulate the local economy.
The began in 2009 and have honored more than 100 women business owners from cities throughout the Bay Area.
"Every year, we honor innovative and inspiring business leaders and entrepreneurs who are seen as role models to our clients," said Nicole Levine, interim chief executive officer, Women's Initiative for Self Employment. The provides low-income women with the business training, funding and ongoing support they need to start their own businesses and become financially self-sufficient.

The women will be recognized at a reception on Oct. 11 in Menlo Park, Calif.
Home Instead Senior Care provides in-home care for seniors in 13 communities across the South Bay in Northern California. Services include three-hour to 24-hour care, assistance with all daily living activities, Alzheimer's care, and non-medical needs.
