Metafore Wins CDN Channel Elite Award for Solution Provider of the Year

("Metafore"), one of Canada's leading IT solution providers, won IT World Canada's CDN Channel Elite award for Solution Provider of the Year for their solution for the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud (CSDCCS).
When the CSDCCS realized the need to upgrade their aging IT infrastructure, they turned to Metafore to help design and implement a virtualization solution that would increase performance, improve energy efficiency and manageability, and lower operating costs.
"Once we had an idea of what we wanted, Metafore helped us create a case study in order to validate the return on investment," said Real Pilon, IT Network Director at CSDDCS. "Once that was completed, we used Metafore's expertise, and in collaboration with my team, implemented the project."
Aware of the potential savings that came with virtualization, Metafore helped the CSDCCS implement four high-powered servers that significantly had more processing power and reduced maintenance time. As part of the CSDCCS labour-efficiency initiative, Metafore was able to transfer their knowledge and best practices, and also provide a hands-on implementation.
