Former Gendis Inc. President and CEO G. Allan MacKenzie Passes Away

(firmenpresse) - WINNIPEG, MANITOBA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/12/12 -- It is with great sadness that Gendis Inc. (TSX: GDS) acknowledges the sudden passing of former Chief Executive Officer, G. Allan MacKenzie, in Winnipeg on Monday, September 10th, 2012. Allan joined Gendis Inc. in 1980 following a successful career with the Royal Canadian Air Force where he had served as Lieutenant-General and Chief of Staff. Over the ensuing 22 years with Gendis he advanced to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer in 1989 and finally to President and Chief Executive Officer in 1999 until his retirement in 2002. He had continued to serve on the board of Sony of Canada since his retirement from Gendis Inc.
