Two-year cycle for transfairlog
(PresseBox) - transfairlog, the Trade Fair for International Transport and Logistics Management, will be lining up for the start again in 2014 - that was announced today by the organising company, EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress GmbH of Munich. With this decision, the organiser is keeping to the original concept of a two-year cycle for transfairlog in Hamburg. Following transfairlog 2012 many exhibitors and visitors had said they would like to see the next edition just one year later, in 2013.
"The decision not to fly the flag again in Hamburg until 2014 wasn't an easy one," said Peter Kazander, Chief Operating Officer, EUROEXPO GmbH. "With LogiMAT in Stuttgart and transfairlog in Hamburg we are organizing two truly top-flight trade fairs. Both of them combine an interesting trade exhibition with an excellent accompanying programme. With a new project like transfairlog, the job of putting together an efficient business platform needs lots of careful planning. And we will be taking the time to get it right."
The transfairlog team is already working hard, getting the groundwork done for a first-class event in 2014. "We are busy expanding our international network, in order to anchor this 'Trade Fair for International Transport and Logistics Management' even more firmly in the region of the Baltic Sea and the North Sea," said Julia Kinzelmann, Exhibition Director of transfairlog, EUROEXPO GmbH. "And at least one wish we have been able to fulfil already: The next transfairlog will be taking place in the early autumn, a timing that was suggested by many of the exhibitors. The exact dates will be announced shortly."
The international trade fair transfairlog presents the full spectrum of modern, strategic and operational solutions for supply chain and global transport processes. The exhibition covers maritime and hinterland transport, forwarding services and transhipment of goods in containers and on pallets, plus operational equipment, warehouse optimisation, process control and ground conveyors.
transfairlog presents products, services and systems that increase the efficiency of internal and external processes in international delivery chains. As well as a trade exhibition, it also features an extensive supporting programme of specialist lectures and shows, all integrated into the exhibition halls.
At the premiere of transfairlog, which took place from 12 to 14 June 2012, a total of 212 exhibitors from ten countries showcased practical transport and logistics solutions and multimodal concepts for International supply chains.
