Canadian Silver Hunter Inc. Announces Results of Shareholder Meeting and Grant of Stock Options
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/13/12 -- Canadian Silver Hunter Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: AGH) is pleased to announce the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders held today in Toronto (the "Meeting"). At the Meeting, the auditors of the Company were re-appointed, and the Company's stock option plan was ratified and approved by the Company's shareholders. The shareholders also approved the re-election of Messrs. Jeffrey Hunter and Robert Gordon, as well as the election of Ms. Shastri Ramnath, as the directors of the Company.
Ms. Ramnath has over 13 years of experience working with companies in the exploration and mining industry, including two years at Falconbridge Limited, and over eight years with the Exploration and Resource Group of FNX Mining (now KGHM International). Most recently, Ms. Ramnath acted as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgeport Ventures Inc., a public Canadian exploration company.
Jeffrey Hunter, the Company's President and CEO and a director, commented: "We are very pleased to welcome Ms. Shastri Ramnath to the board of directors. Her track record and experience in the exploration and mining industry will be of great benefit to our board. We would also like to thank Mr. Douglas Flett for his service as a director since 2011."
Additionally, following the termination of the Meeting, the board granted 100,000 stock options to Ms. Ramnath, with an exercise price of $0.20 per common share and an expiry date of September 13, 2017.
