Global Clean Energy, Inc. Establishes Government Grants Division
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 09/19/12 -- Global Clean Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GCEI) has formed a division exclusively to apply and monitor grants in aid programs throughout the United States and Canada. The company has begun to apply for monies to accomplish its business plan and based on its early success with grant monies from Canada, GCEI anticipates the renewable energy development monies available to be an excellent source of revenue to finance the projects that are being developed. The Grants Division will also be responsible for the development of strategic agreements with Universities and their renewable energy departments.
The company received Canadian government grant monies to develop its gasification systems and has started the application process for both feedstock developments in the US for the company's vortex pumping system.
The company has targeted its first round of applications with the USDA and its Rural Development Loan Guarantee Program, the Rural Energy for America Program and the Biomass Crop Assistance Program. All of those applications relate to the development of Jatropha in the southern US and switch grass in the northern US. The company will be able to provide both a model and the ability to reach scale proportions with the plans contemplated.
Applications are in place to fund the utilization of the vortex pumping system as it relates to methane hydrates. The successful capture of hydrates will provide a safe and green source of energy for the world, using the GCE vortex pump.
