Issuance of new shares

Reference is made to the announcements of 24 and 25 March 2010 regarding the
private placement of 10,365,000 new shares (the "New Shares") in Songa Offshore
SE (the "Company").
The New Shares have now been validly issued, and the Company's issued share
capital has been increased to EUR 18,448,379.84, divided into 167,712,544 shares
with a nominal value of EUR 0.11 per share.
