for French viewers
Munich/Paris: Your Family Entertainment AG (YFE) has launched its kids and
family TV channel yourfamily in France on the IPTV-Plattform SFR on April
1. More quality conscious platforms for non violent, family friendly
entertainment will follow in the near future. Together with ProSieben Sat.1
Welt, RTL, n-tv and others, yourfamily is part of an exclusive German
language bouquet.
On advanced schools over 15 percent of French students study German today.
Moreover, there is a substantial German language minority in the region of
Alsace. In France IPTV is an established platform for TV signals. In 2009
over 8.1 million homes had subscribed to an IPTV provider, especially in
the urban centres, that is almost 45 percent of all French TV homes. That
makes France an attractive market for the high quality programs of Your
Family Entertainment.
