MEDIA ADVISORY: IPC Commences 9th International Pipeline Conference
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/21/12 -- The International Pipeline Conference will be holding a press conference on Monday September 24, 2012 at 12:00 noon (MST) in the Neilson Room I at the Hyatt Regency in Calgary to announce the start of the 9th International Pipeline Conference (IPC).
Co-chair of the organizing committee for the conference, Mr. Ziad Saad, Vice-President, Safety and Sustainability of the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association, will be making some opening remarks and taking questions from the media about the IPC Conference.
IPC is governed by the International Pipeline Conference Foundation on behalf of ASME and the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association. The conference is held every two years and draws world-wide attendance. Representatives from over 30 countries will present over 300 papers in thirteen technical tracks. Experts will also share their knowledge in tutorials and senior members of the international pipeline industry will give presentations on current pipeline industry topics.
