HOCHTIEF Solutions sells TRIAS in Leipzig to DEVK Versicherungen
Office and commercial building on Martin-Luther-Ring due for completion in early 2014—one-third of space is already let
Trias office and commercial building in downtown Leipzig(firmenpresse) - HOCHTIEF Solutions has sold the Trias office and commercial building in downtown Leipzig to the life assurance company DEVK Allgemeine Lebensversicherungs-AG. It was agreed that no details of the purchase price would be disclosed. The joint project being carried out by the HOCHTIEF Solutions branches, formart Leipzig and Building PPP Erfurt has a rental area of around 6,330 square meters. It is due for completion during Q1 2014 and will be handed over to the tenants as of March 2014.
The office and commercial building will fill one of the final gaps on Leipzig’s Promenadenring. Trias will be built as a high-rise with eight regular floors, three tower levels, and 28 underground parking spaces, on a triangular lot of around 900 square meters on the intersection of Martin-Luther-Ring and Markgrafenstrasse. Almost 35 percent of the building’s rental area has already been let. The two restaurants, L’Osteria and Sprizz Zingst, will open on the 780 square meters on the ground floor. Two of the upper levels have also been let already: The planning office ZBP Zimmermann und Becker and the HOCHTIEF Solutions Leipzig units will each be using 700 square meters. Trias is designed to meet the criteria for Silver certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
