Wade Bevier Named Construction Specifications Institute Fellow

Fellowship is one of the highest honors bestowed to members for their notable contributions to the advancement of construction technology; to the improvement of construction specifications; to education; or for service to the Institute. Bevier was one of eight honorees from across the nation to be inducted at an investiture ceremony, held on September 14 in Phoenix, Arizona. The event was held in conjunction with the Institute's national CONSTRUCT trade show and educational conference.
Bevier joined the Durham, N.C. office of SmithGroupJJR in 2011 and possesses over 15 years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. He is a CSI-certified construction specifier and an active member of the Institute at the local, regional and national levels. Currently serving as President-Elect for the Southeast Region, past leadership roles include president of the Raleigh-Durham Chapter, Certification/Technical Chair for the Southeast Region, and National Institute Director. Bevier is also affiliated with the U.S. Green Building Council's North Carolina Triangle Chapter and is a LEED accredited professional.
