JELD-WEN, inc. Announces New Chief Financial Officer
(firmenpresse) - KLAMATH FALLS, OR -- (Marketwire) -- 09/27/12 -- JELD-WEN, inc. announced today the appointment of Scott Cottrill as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, reporting to JELD-WEN President Philip Orsino. Mr. Cottrill will assume his new position on October 15, 2012.
Mr. Cottrill brings a wealth of global financial experience to JELD-WEN including 11 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and 14 years with Goodrich Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industries. Since 2005, Mr. Cottrill has been Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Goodrich. Prior to that, Mr. Cottrill led Goodrich's internal audit department. At Goodrich his responsibilities spanned external reporting, financial planning and analysis, as well as serving as Goodrich's finance integration lead during its acquisition by United Technologies Corporation.

Mr. Cottrill graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor. Mr. Cottrill will join the JELD-WEN office in Fort Mill outside Charlotte.
