English Courses Provider Kaplan Launch Inspire Language Learning Blogger Competition

The Inspire Language Learning blogger contest, which starts on Friday September 28th, is asking bloggers what they think is the most important benefit of learning a language. Is it love, travel, money or intelligence?
Bloggers will have until October 26th to submit their entry which will include their argument as well as Kaplan's . The top three bloggers will have their entry read by a prestigious panel of judges who will decide the winner.
The judging panel includes actor, writer and travel adventurer Charley Boorman, multi-linguist blogger Benny Lewis and author and English teacher Tara Benwell.
Martin Hofschroer, SEO Executive at Kaplan, said: "There's plenty of argument about what the most important benefit of learning another language is and we're anticipating some really thought-provoking entries. I'm delighted with the calibre of judges as I'm sure their expertise will help select a worthy winner."
People can vote for their favourite blogger by clicking the Facebook like button in the competition entry as soon as the post is published. Votes can also be cast on the competition page between October 29th and November 9th.
A list of entrants will be displayed on the competition page between these dates with a Facebook like button next to each entry. The top three blogs with the most Facebook likes will be read by the external judging panel.
The winner, who will be announced on November 19th, will have the choice of an Apple MacBook Air or a Kaplan English course in Edinburgh. The second place blogger will win an iPod Touch and third place will take home an iPod Nano.

This competition follows the challenge which asked bloggers about their thoughts on Kaplan's research into how people from watching television, listening to music and playing video games.
