New Toshiba Managed Business Services Focuses on Accelerated Growth With a Unified Business Services Offering

(), a leading managed document services (MDS) provider and business printing solutions innovator, today announced it has expanded its core business with the launch of a new services-oriented organization, Toshiba Managed Business Services ().
To capture market share in key growth segments, the new independent Toshiba organization will focus on strengthening present business services offerings in MDS and managed print services (MPS), document security, workflow/capture, barcode printing systems, and add services competence in managed digital signage and retail kiosks.

Melo will lead Toshiba Managed Business Services, which will be housed at Toshiba America Business Solutions' new headquarters in Irvine, Calif. Chris Applegate will assume the role of director, enterprise services, to manage daily operations.
The organization launches with an already-established national team of professionals in the areas of sales, business analysis, solution design, integration, and product customization services. The new Toshiba Managed Business Services team will be charged with consultative services to help customers meet business challenges in the areas of:

Toshiba Managed Business Services will be primarily engaged in enterprise sales with a national focus on key vertical market opportunities in education, financial services, manufacturing, retail and healthcare.
