Stratus Technologies Japan and Mitsubishi Electric Information Technology Strengthen Sales Partnership With ftServer Distributor Agreement
(firmenpresse) - MAYNARD, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/02/12 -- Stratus Technologies Japan, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Stratus Technologies, Inc., announced today that Mitsubishi Electric Information Technology Corporation (MDIT) is adding Stratus ftServer systems to its select product portfolio for distribution in Japan, distinctively co-branding the servers as "Distributed by Mitsubishi Electric." Stratus is a global provider of products and services focused on protecting critical applications from system downtime.
This new distributor agreement builds upon and further strengthens the long-standing sales partnerships between MDIT and Stratus Japan, both based in Tokyo, Japan. MDIT is now offering Stratus' newest ftServer family, announced in September 2012, to provide a powerful fault-tolerant server solution to assure business continuity for Japanese enterprises.
MDIT and Stratus will target a variety of industries and markets including public organizations, healthcare, manufacturing, financial and other medium-size enterprises that require superior uptime reliability for their mission-critical applications in cloud computing and network virtualization implementations.
