Greenlight boosts management team with Warren Newbert as Chief Financial Officer
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/03/12 -- Leading independent digital marketing agency, , has appointed former BBC Studios and Post Productions' commercial and Finance Director, Warren Newbert, as chief financial officer (CFO).
The appointment closely follows significant successes recorded by Greenlight in 2011/12, in which its year-on-year income has seen a significant 29 per cent growth to reach almost GBP 9 million as the agency's operations grow in scale and complexity.
Newbert has over ten years' worth of experience working within media services companies and a proven track record in building and growing businesses. Prior to joining the BBC in 2009, he was CFO at Gravity Media Group, an outside broadcast company that completed a management buy-out (MBO) out of a listed plc and acquired businesses from ITV and Seven Network. He trained with Grant Thornton and spent four years with the corporate finance practice advising a number of entrepreneurial businesses on acquisitions and fund raising.
Today, Greenlight services a diverse portfolio of cross-vertical B2C and B2B clients in 11 countries. They include Santander, Reiss, Boots, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels as well as long standing and established global players.
