Sheryl Cattell Receives Golden Mouse Award From Women in Ecommerce
(firmenpresse) - FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/05/12 -- Sheryl Cattell, founder and former president of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association, was recently named a Golden Mouse Award Honoree in the Association Marketing category by the Florida chapter of Women in Ecommerce. The award was created by the local chapter to recognize women for their achievements in leveraging the Internet to promote business.
Cattell, director of internet marketing at Cross Country Home Services, has a long and storied career in Internet marketing with big-name brands like Travelocity, Bank of America, BlueGreen and others. Under her leadership, SFIMA has hosted nationally recognized brands and speakers to South Florida at its monthly educational programs. Cattell was also the creator of SFIMA's Nautical Networking Cruise -- a coveted invite-only event luring the cream of the Internet marketing crop from companies like Google, Microsoft, Bing, Yahoo! and others to South Florida each October. In 1998, Cattell founded the Dallas Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association, a highly successful organization that continues to this day.
