Tecella Awarded Patch Clamp Amplifier Patents
(firmenpresse) - FOOTHILL RANCH, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/08/12 -- Tecella has been awarded three patents that cover a range of technologies for patch clamp amplifiers.
The three patents (US Patent 7,741,829, 8,163,147, and 8,163,527) cover spread spectrum capacitance compensation, dynamically damped series resistance compensation, analog leak compensation, and internal model cell incorporation.
The spread spectrum capacitance compensation enables artifact-free computer controlled compensation.
Dynamically damped series resistance compensation enables higher compensation levels of fast transient responses.
Analog leak compensation allows higher signal-to-noise recordings even with loose seals, and works even with series resistance compensation turned on.
Internal model cell allows for automated system calibration as well as post-experiment system verification.
