Best-Selling Authors Team Up to Support the United Way of Utah County
(firmenpresse) - PROVO, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 10/09/12 -- At the fifth annual community date night, best-selling authors and world-class presenters, Ron McMillan and Stephen M. R. Covey, will teach vital skills for communicating with one's spouse and children and building family relationships upon a foundation of trust.
Held at the Covey Center for the Arts Friday, October 19, this fun, entertaining date night will strengthen both relationships and the community. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Utah County. Event attendees will also receive discounts of up to 20% to great restaurants in downtown Provo. (See details below)
Ron McMillan is the co-author of "Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High" and Stephen M. R. Covey is the author of "The Speed of Trust: The One Thing That Changes Everything." They have taught vital communication and trust skills globally and are excited to share these skills with the community.
"The success of family relationships hinges on family members' ability to effectively communicate in high-stakes situations and establish trust in each other," McMillan said.
