Session hosted on September 19th in Stockholm. BWise, together with PwC Sweden
and a large Scandinavian Financial Services company presented during a
breakfast session methods to increase the importance of responsible business to
achieve sustainable results.
The breakfast session included discussions on sustainability trends, software
solutions and pragmatic approaches to manage sustainability issues across
different industries. Participants, including representatives of Scandinavians
largest companies, agreed on the importance of sustainability initiatives and
the relevancy for all industries. Sustainability is high on the agenda of
organizations to take action on in 2013.
During the session, PwC Sweden addressed current trends in the market,
providing the audience insight on the evolving market and increasing awareness
of sustainability, encouraging action within companies. One of the largest
financial services in Northern Europe presented its practical approach towards
sustainability. The presentations included the steps taken by the organization
and what steps needs to be taken regarding financial crime, responsible
investments, ecological footprint and sustainability (CSR) reporting. BWise
completed the session with insights supporting companies with its software
solution for sustainability initiatives. Including the benefits of the
Integrated Reporting approach, following the International Integrated Reporting
Council (IIRC), where sustainability and financial frameworks are combined into
