Clients learn about solutions, best practices, and networking at Ungerboeck’s 2012 Global Conference EMEA Conference
(firmenpresse) - The Ungerboeck Clients from across the globe gathered in St. Louis on September 9-12th for Ungerboeck Software’s 22nd annual global conference. Attendees received valuable training on Ungerboeck’s industry-leading event management software, as well the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in their industries. In addition to educational presentations, hands-on product demonstrations, and one-on-one time with consultants, clients were able to preview the latest announcements from Ungerboeck.
First and foremost, President Krister Ungerboeck showcased significant advances in the company’s newest release, version 20 (v20). The ground-up refresh of Ungerboeck’s software offers a significant leap forward in usability and productivity for users. Over 100 clients already run v20, a web-based version of Ungerboeck Software. The new version allows clients to access their event management software in a cloud-based environment – anywhere, anytime -- instead of being tied to a local desktop.
More than $20 million in research and development went into the creation of the new, web-based solution. Every detail of the software was analyzed and optimized for workflow. Independent testing showed that first time users were able to perform common tasks in the new software version in a third of the time. With the substantial v20 development progress made to date, Krister made clear to attendees that the time to begin planning for the upgrade has arrived.
“Our research indicates that the latest version of Ungerboeck Software will deliver a payback of $25,000-$150,000 in the first year for most of our customers,” said Ungerboeck.
In addition, the company announced a new product offering – Ungerboeck Touch for Tablets. The tablet version of Ungerboeck Software was developed for clients who are increasingly working in a mobile environment or switching between their computers and a tablet throughout the day. Unlike most limited or hobbled apps typical to the market, Ungerboeck Touch for Tablets supports the FULL functionality of Ungerboeck’s integrated software, designed specifically for use on tablet devices.

Ungerboeck was pleased to also invite two guest presenters to speak at the conference. Stephen Nold presented a session on current topics concerning tradeshow and association executives. Thom Singer, an expert in social networking and personal branding, presented the keynote address on developing relationships and networking.
