New members to the Board of Directors of Kaukomarkkinat Ltd

The Board of Directors of Kaukomarkkinat Ltd, part of Aspo Group, has been
reinforced through the appointment of specialist members from outside the Group.
Ms Pirja Heiskanen (41), Ph.D., Mr Risto Kyhälä (49), M.Sc. (Tech.), and Mr
Kimmo Liukkonen (47), M.Sc. (Tech.), have been appointed to the Board. Mr Aki
Ojanen, CEO of Aspo Group, will continue serve as Chairman of the Board.
Kaukomarkkinat supplies products and services for buildings, industrial
facilities, power utilities and other professional applications. The company
focuses on energy efficient and sustainable technologies.
"Now that Kaukomarkkinat has revised its strategy, the time is right for the
company to adopt the Aspo way of organizing Board activities. I am confident
that with the help and support from the new members, the management will be able
to successfully carry out the changes necessary for the further development of

Pirja Heiskanen has held various positions at Fortum. She most recently served
as Vice President for Trading and Industrial Intelligence, having transferred to
the unit from Fortum's Russian operations. Ms Heiskanen has solid experience in
the Nordic and Russian energy markets, as well as in business management in
Russia.
Risto Kyhälä has broad experience in the real estate and human resource service
business on both Finnish and international level. During his career, Mr Kyhälä
has held executive management positions at McDonalds Oy and Engel Group. He most
recently served as CEO of Realia Group. Currently, he is also the Chairman of
the Board of Marinetek Group Oy.
Kimmo Liukkonen has extensive experience in the real estate and construction
sectors. He is the CEO of EMC Group and has previously held managerial, sales
and development positions at YIT and ABB, as well as served in several positions
of trust in the electrical and building systems sector.
The new Board will assume duty on November 1, 2012.
