Energy industries are the big reason why U.S. industrial project activity is expected to grow, he said. "Those industries will account for an estimated 57% of U.S. industrial spending in 2012," he predicted. In the region, Bergen said Industrial Info is tracking 436 major projects across all industries that are scheduled to kick off in 2013, with a total investment value of $49.2 billion.
