RMJM UK Announces Business Restructuring
(firmenpresse) - EDINBURGH, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/26/12 -- The Global Architecture firm RMJM has restructured its UK business to safeguard its ability to service its clients and to preserve the employment of its Architects in the UK. All 120 UK jobs have been secured as a result of the restructuring.
Following a strategic review of the Group's structure and operations the Directors have concluded, with a deep sense of regret, that three UK subsidiary companies can no longer continue to trade.
As a result, Blair Nimmo and Gary Fraser of KPMG were today appointed at the request of the Directors as the receivers of RMJM Ltd, RMJM London Ltd and RMJM Scotland Ltd.
With the ongoing support of RMJM's Clients, the contracts in these companies, together with the Architecture teams delivering them, have been acquired today by the new RMJM European Division, which alongside RMJM Middle East, RMJM US and RMJM Asia, now make up the RMJM Group. The delivery of projects for clients of these three subsidiaries will be unaffected.
This restructuring does not in any way impact or affect the Group's operations in the US, Far East and Middle Eastern businesses or activities of the RMJM Group.
