Huntington Learning Center Honors Students for Outstanding Achievement
(firmenpresse) - ORADELL, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 10/29/12 -- Huntington Learning Centers across the country are proud to honor their students for their outstanding efforts and achievement through Huntington's supplemental education services program.
"Our students have worked very hard this year, and their efforts have shown in the results they have achieved," said Taryn Weitzman, Director of Franchise Operations for Huntington Learning Centers. "We are seeing grade level increases of .84 in Reading and 1.3 in Math nationally in an average of just 30 hours of instruction."
Huntington completed tutoring programs with more than 6,000 students in 14 states plus the District of Columbia in the 2011-2012 academic year. Huntington's School Services division helps school districts across the country improve their academic performance, as dictated by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Eligible students receive free supplemental education services from Huntington.
Huntington was one of the nation's first NCLB-approved supplemental education services providers and has worked with more than 200 school districts nationwide since 2002. Huntington has more than 250 learning centers in 38 states, and in 2009, the company launched the Huntington School Services Franchise business, which has since expanded to 14 states plus the District of Columbia.
