Advent Software, Inc. Postpones Third Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call to Tuesday, October 30, 2012 Due to Expected Severe Weather Conditions

SAN FRANCISCO - October 29, 2012 - Advent Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVS),
announces the postponement of its Third Quarter 2012 earnings release and
conference call, which was previously scheduled for Monday, October 29, 2012 at
5:00 p.m. EST, due to the expected severe weather conditions, which caused
closure of the exchanges today.
The earnings release has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 30, 2012, after
the market close.
In conjunction with the earnings release, the Company will host a conference
call at 5:00 pm ET on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. To participate via phone,

call will also be webcast live, then archived (with an accompanying slide
