GOGL - Resignation of CFO

Mr. Geir Karlsen, the CFO of Golden Ocean Management AS, has today submitted his
notice of resignation from his employment with the company. Mr. Karlsen has,
based on the management agreement between Golden Ocean Management AS and Golden
Ocean Group Limited, effectively filled the position as CFO for the Golden Ocean
Group. Mr. Karlsen has been a very valuable employee in his period as employee
in Frontline Limited from 2000 to 2006, and in Golden Ocean Group since the
company's incorporation. He has contributed to the growth of the Group over the
period of his employment. The Golden Ocean Group wishes Mr. Karlsen the very
best in his pursuit of other opportunities. Golden Ocean Management AS and Mr.
Karlsen have agreed that he will leave his employment on 31 July, 2010. Golden
Ocean Management AS will seek Mr. Karlsen's replacement as CFO as soon as
possible.
