Charges against Okmetic's President in insider matter related to share trades by
LSO Osuuskunta
Okmetic Oyj has been informed that the Helsinki district prosecutor has decided
that, amongst others, Okmetic Oyj's President Kai Seikku will be charged with
aggravated abuse of insider information in a matter which relates to share
trades by LSO Osuuskunta in HK Ruokatalo Group Corporation's (current HKScan
Corporation) shares in August 2006.
The matter does not in any manner relate to Okmetic Oyj nor to Seikku's position
as President of Okmetic and he enjoys the full support of the board.
Okmetic will monitor the progress of the proceedings and revisit the issue at
the latest when the outcome of the proceedings has been determined.
