Maastricht, April 30, 2010 - Navigator Equity Solutions SE hereby announces
its final results for the fiscal year 2009. The company's financial
statements have been approved by the Supervisory Board and have received an
unqualified auditor's opinion from the independent auditors of KPMG
Accountants N.V.
In the fiscal year 2009, the group generated total revenues of 18.1m euros
(2008: 17.3m euros). These were made up from 11.1m euros (2008: 13.3m
euros) at IT Competence Group N.V., 5.9m euros (2008: 8.0m euros) at
Kaldron N.V., 0.9m euros (2008: 0.7m euros) at The Ascendo Group N.V. and
0.1m euros (2008: 0.0m euros) at the holding as well as 0.1m euros (2008:
-4.6m euros) from investments held for trading.
Operating income (EBIT) for the period amounted to 0.1m euros (2008: -4.4m
euros).
Taking into account a finance result of -0.2m euros (2008: -0.0m euros)
pre-tax earnings amounted to -0.1m euros (2008: -4.5m euros).
After deduction of income taxes amounting to 0.2m euros (2008: 0.5m euros)
the group's net income for the fiscal year 2009 amounted to -0.3m euros
(2008: -4.9m euros).
The individual balance sheet items have developed as follows:
The group's balance sheet total was down from 33.8m euros to 24.6m euros.
This is for the most part due to the repayment of capital amounting to 6.6m
euros in March 2009. Fixed assets remained stable at 8.4m euros (2008: 8.5m
euros) while current assets were reduced from 25.3m euros to 16.2m euros.
This includes a total of cash and cash equivalents and financial assets
amounting to 13.6m euros (2008: 22.2m euros).
The group's total equity was reduced from 25.8m euros to 18.4m euros which
is also mainly due to the repayment of capital. In spite of this, the
group's equity ratio as of December 31, 2009 was still 75.0% (2008: 76.3%).
Long-term liabilities, consisting mainly of provisions, were stable at 0.4m
euros (2008: 0.5m euros) while current liabilities were reduced from 7.5m
euros to 5.8m euros.
