Francotyp-Postalia Asia Strengthens its Position In Asia
- Activities concentrated at one new site
- Singapore City State backs FP Asia
(firmenpresse) - Birkenwerder, 10 June 2009. Francotyp-Postalia Asia Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG, is concentrating all its activities in the Asian market into one site. The new location will be responsible for production, sales and marketing, procurement and administration. "This new, modern and large space will enable us to expand our sales and marketing activities in the Asian area in future and help us greatly optimize our internal processes. Our aim is to further expand FP's market position in these high-growth markets," explained Marc Sempell, General Manager of Francotyp-Postalia Asia.
The state-run Singapore Economy Development Board, responsible for promoting industries of the future in the City State, is also backing the company's growth plans. Thanks to the "Investor Development and Expansion Incentive", FP Asia will gain from tax benefits in future. FP's new company was created at the beginning of the year, following the acquisition of shares in the joint venture with Global Procurement Services. FP Asia currently employs 21 people.
The Francotyp-Postalia Group sees good growth opportunities for its subsidiary. "Penetration of the Asian markets using modern mail management solutions is just starting. Being here right at the beginning with our own regional base enables us to strengthen our market coverage of the region," commented Andreas Drechsler, member of the Management Board of the FP Group.
