Acting CEO appointed at Storebrand Bank

Truls Nergaard has been appointed acting CEO at Storebrand Bank ASA. Nergaard
takes up his position as of 15 May 2010.  His appointment was announced today
following an ordinary board meeting at Storebrand Bank.

Truls Nergaard has been in charge of the corporate department at Storebrand Bank
since February 2009. Nergaard has gained considerable experience in the
financial sector, most notably as a financial manager at DnB Nor.

He is 51 years old, holds an economics degree and an MBA from Thunderbird, USA.
