Complaint filed with the Board of Medicine in Massachusetts against orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ronald Marvin

The son of a woman who died following knee surgery has filed a complaint against
Dr. Ronald Marvin, the orthopedic surgeon of Helen Marie Bousquet at The Holy
Family Hospital in Methuen, Massachusetts.
Brian Evans has filed the complaint with the Massachusetts Board of Medicine,
and an investigation has begun.
"As the orthopedic surgeon who knew my mother was on morphine and had a heart
condition and sleep apnea prior to her knee surgery, it was his responsibility
to make sure she was monitored after that surgery, which all of her doctor's
knew about. In the ICU, this doctor admitted to me, and another individual who
was sitting next to me in the waiting room, that yes.she should have been in a
monitored room given her pre-existing conditions. Ya think?," says Evans.
Evans filed a police report with The Methuen Police Department alleging
criminally negligent homicide in the death of his mother against all involved.
He has a meeting with state senators at the Massachusetts State House on
November 13th.
"On my mother's death certificate, they listed seven causes of death despite
there not being an autopsy," says Evans. The funeral home director comments on
this in a story visible at www.valleypatriot.com in an interview with that
paper.
US Senator John Kerry forwarded Evans' complaint regarding the hospital to
investigators directly.
A website for Helen Bousquet has been set up by her son at
www.helenbousquet.com.
"I blame myself. I should have been there to rescue her from these idiots, which
by the results of her care is exactly what they were. You don't go in for knee
surgery and die, but you do at The Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, and other
people are coming forward with similar stories and it disgusts me."
