Complaint against The Holy Family Hospital in Methuen filed with the Chief Medical Examiner office
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
The son of a patient who died on October 5(th), 2012 at The Holy Family Hospital
in Methuen, Massachusetts has filed a formal complaint with the Chief Medical
Examiner in Boston. The website for the medical examiner may be found at
http://www.mass.gov/eopss/agencies/ocme/.
Brian Evans filed the complaint after learning the hospital did not even know
that they had released her body, placing seven causes of death on her death
certificate, despite there being no autopsy.
Helen Bousquet died after being left in an unmonitored recovery room at The Holy
Family Hospital, owned by Steward Health Care System, despite the hospital and
doctors knowledge that she had pre-existing cardiac issues, and sleep apnea,
while dosed out on morphine after knee replacement surgery and throwing up most
of the day she died.
"They just left her there to die," says Evans. "No one had a clue she was even
having an issue, and the word of the day in this place was "protocol" and it
makes me sick," says Evans.
A website has been set up for Helen Bousquet at www.helenbousquet.com

Evans meets with state senators Tarr and Brownsberger on November 13(th). The
Governor of Massachusetts is expected to attend. FBI agent Mike Lawrence said he
is "assessing" the situation, and Essex County District Attorney John Dawley is
awaiting agency complaint results before acting on a criminal complaint filed
with the Methuen Police Department. It alleges criminally negligent homicide.
"Just because the building says 'hospital' doesn't give them a pass to behave
the we me and my family witness," says Evans.
