Debt management company Gregory Pennington is staying ahead of the game with an online tool that helps you keep up to date with what's happening on your debt management plan.

Debt management customers are given exclusive access to the secure online information hub that stores all the details of their accounts and lets them check up on how their plan is progressing.

You can log on and see how your plan is progressing whenever it's convenient and you have internet access.
"Our average customer has seven unsecured lenders and we help people with debt problems to manage their repayments to each of them.
"We take over all contact with their lenders and we try to negotiate repayments that our customers can actually afford, to help them avoid taking on any more debt. We have been doing this since 1993 and have helped thousands of people with debt problems to overcome them, so we have a pretty good success rate.
"We found that our customers often wanted updates on their debts, to check up on how things were progressing, especially when their lenders are no longer chasing them for repayment. We listened to what our customers wanted and launched the online service in February 2012.
"It means our customers can log on at a time that's convenient to them and find answers to most of the questions they're likely to have about their debt management plan. We keep the information on the online hub up-to-date and prompt customers with an SMS text message when we've updated something they need to know about, just to help them keep in touch with what's happening with their debts.
"Our customers can also view a breakdown of their income and expenditure. There's also a dedicated Support Centre full of helpful guides, frequently asked questions and money-saving tips, designed to help people make the most of their money while they're on debt management - and into the future, once they have repaid their debts in full."
