The Philippine subsidiary 'Curcas Oil Philippines Inc.' is making great
progress with the integration of the existing plantations in the region
around General Santos. More than 7,000 ha have been contracted under the
contract farming program, which has been started in the beginning of 2010.
In addition, first Jatropha oil has been squeezed at the production
facility in General Santos, which is being extended at the moment.
Production output is being increased successively. Due to the faster than
expected integration, Curcas Oil N.V. has ordered 10 squeezers, each
enabling a press capacity of 200 MT/month. As a result the company-wide
press capacity for Jatropha seeds amounts to more than 30,000 MT/year.
