EVRY to deliver private cloud to Hydro

(Oslo, 19 November 2012) EVRY is to provide operating services for Hydro's SAP
environment by using logical partitions to give Hydro a "private cloud". The
agreement represents total contract value in excess of NOK 60 million through to
2016, with an option to renew for a further two years.
EVRY's delivery to Hydro will cover Hydro's ERP environment, which includes 35
SAP systems of which seven are production systems, and the others are
development and test systems. In addition, the contract includes operating
services for portals and integration systems between SAP and external
environments.
The solution makes it possible to use logical partitions that give Hydro a
"private cloud" with security against access by other parties. These factors,
combined with Hydro's great confidence in our operating services environment,
were the deciding factors in Hydro's decision to renew with EVRY.
As part of the agreement, EVRY is to implement a collaboration solution based on
ITIL that will ensure automated interaction in a number of areas. This serves to
shorten delivery times and ensure greater delivery precision. The result is an
entirely new SLA regime, which advances the form of agreement and degree of
precision associated with our deliveries to Hydro. This agreement represents a
continuation of an earlier contract for Hydro.
