GEA with prize-winning innovations
Düsseldorf/Hannover, November 19, 2012 - The EuroTier exhibition at
Hannover, Germany, which is the global lead fair for domestic livestock
management, again proved a great success for GEA Farm Technologies this
year. GEA's expectations regarding the number of visitors and customer
interest were easily surpassed.
Two innovations 'Made by GEA' won awards from Deutsche
Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG), host of the exhibition: GEA DairyProQ,
the world's first module for continuous fully automatic milking flexibly
suitable for various types of milk parlours won a gold medal. GEA
DairyProView, the first software to allow a comprehensive monitoring of the
entire operations of a dairy farm, was awarded a silver medal. Overall, out
of more than 300 innovations from the 2.445 exhibitors only 24 were
distinguished by an impartial expert commission. Beyond that, GEA DairyProQ
won the prestigious award of 'innovation of the year 2013' ('Neuheit des
Jahres 2013') from dlv Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag.
