Handelsbanken's exposure to the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain

As previously announced (on Friday 7 May), Handelsbanken's exposure to Greek
counterparties totals SEK 16 million. Due to continuing developments in the euro
area, we are now also presenting information regarding Handelsbanken's exposure
to counterparties (companies, institutions, banks and governments) in the
Republic of Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
The Bank's gross exposures to these countries amount to the following: Republic
of Ireland SEK 47 million; Italy SEK 413 million; Portugal SEK 2 million and
Spain SEK 930 million.
